Selkie 'German Chalk' Concrete Shower Panel.

What is the difference between MR MDF and MR Exterior?
MEDITE MR is a moisture resistant MDF which can be used in interior humid conditions such as kitchens and bathrooms. MEDITE MR should not be used in external environments. MEDITE TRICOYA EXTREME and MEDITE EXTERIOR are exterior grade MDF products that can be used in exterior wet/humid conditions.
OUR PRODUCT ARE 100% WATERPROOF

A contemporary finish, our German Chalk décor is very much inspired by the industrial design movement with its stonework feel. A concrete effect, this grey bathroom panel is manufactured in Scotland to the highest standards and is suited to bathrooms, shower areas and wet rooms.

Selkie shower panels offer the ideal hygienic and easy clean solution for wet wall requirements - there is no need for grouting thus eliminating many of the places that germs and mould can gather and a simple wipe down will soon have the waterproof board looking like new.

These decorative shower panels require minimal maintenance and are manufactured from only environmentally friendly core materials, this unique combination of beautiful designs offers the perfect solution for all wet wall requirements. Manufactured in Scotland to the highest standards, each Selkie Board is backed by comprehensive 15 year guarantee.

Choose from 40 modern, fashionable designs which are simple to install and easy to clean.

Can you do a whole bathroom with wall panels? Yes. Selkie wall panels can be used throughout a whole bathroom area and are available in both a square & tongue and groove edge to suit customer preferences. Square edge panels are clean cut and must be joined via trims.

Tongue and Groove panels are designed to slot in seamlessly to each other, allowing for panels to be applied to larger wall spaces without disruption. Please note: During a Tongue & Groove panel installation, Selkie colour match sealant must be used on all joints.

How do you attach a panel to a concrete wall? Prior to installation of any panels to a concrete wall, it must be ensured that the wall is level. To allow your panels to be attached around the perimeter of the wall, a timber framework must be constructed for your panels to be mounted on.

For example, a 2 panel corner sited shower will require: 1 Internal Corner and 2 End Cap trims. Whereas a 3 panel 'U' shaped enclosure will require: 2 Internal Corners and 2 End Caps. You may also want to consider using a Panseal Kit also available in the Accessories section, to seal the bottom joint between panels, bath edges and shower trays. Many fitters prefer to sit the panels onto the shower tray and use silicone to seal, but as it is essential to prevent water ingress we recommend using the Panseal Kit to give you a better, longer lasting seal with a cleaner, more aesthetic finish. And don't forget to order your silicone sealant and wall panel adhesive - also available in the Accessories section. Delivery of your shower panels is arranged by your local bathroom showroom and typically takes place within two to ten working days.
